Southbound join the BMF Saturday (7th July) line-up with their exclusive take on British Blues.
Drawing inspiration from blues, rock, jazz, funk and soul, this young London band are going to get the party started with their unique sounds and grooves.

Whilst writing, the band draw from the sounds of greats such as Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac, the Allman Brothers Band, B.B. King, and Eric Clapton but also from quite unorthodox artists like Santana, Jeff Beck, Gary Clark Jr and jazz-fusion band Snarky Puppy. When performing live, all these influences come together to create an unparalleled live experience that’s both entertaining and mesmerising.

2017 saw them support some amazing artists (including BMF 2016 band Stevie Nimmo Trio and this year’s Laurence Jones) and play some top festivals including the Great British Rock and Blues Festival, London Pride and the Great British Rhythm and Blues Festival in Colne.
2018 is going to be even bigger with the arrival of their debut album, so don’t miss them!
