SUNDAY 14th JULY 2024

In the Big Top

Gates open 12 noon. Finish approx. 9.00pm.

THE COUNTERFEIT STONES

The Counterfeit Stones celebrate over twenty years of touring the world with their skilfully mixed cocktail of classic hits, retro costumes and humour. Even Sir Mick Jagger himself quoted The Counterfeit Stones as being, “The Most famous Stones band in England”.
They’ve shared stages with Joe Cocker, Iggy Pop, Blur, ZZ Top, Bryan Ferry and many more and we’ve been trying to book them for years, so we are really happy to have them close BMF 2024.

THE KUBRICKS

Since we saw them last, The Kubricks released a brand-new album and shared their infectious brand of ska, reggae and infectious melodic pop with festival audiences across the UK and Europe.
And now they’re coming back to BMF on Sunday 14th July – with the best audience of course.

GABBY RIVERS

At just 21, indie/alternative singer songwriter Gabby Rivers has already gained her share of musical acclaim. Having released her second EP in 2023 and a new single ‘DIG ME’ last week, she has garnered the support of BBC introducing and BBC 6 Music, and has graced the stages of Latitude and Reading Festivals and Secret Garden Party.
Gabby won our B-Fest competition in 2016 and is now headlining her own shows, so we are honoured to welcome her back to BMF Sunday, with her five-piece band, as a seasoned and celebrated artist.

SCANDAL

Scandal make their first BMF appearance, but rise from the ashes of our much-requested and much loved regulars (and now defunct) Soul Kitchen. Four of the six members of Scandal are ex Soul Kitchen, and although they aren’t as zany as the chefs used to be, they promise to get the party started with a tight rhythm section and catchy brass lines topped with their unique five part vocal harmonies.
Prepare for a set of feel good classics with an added touch of fun.

THE SUFFOLK SLAPPERS

You asked for ’em, so we got ’em!
The Suffolk Slappers passion for Rockabilly and the classic sound the 50’s and 60’s is guaranteed to get you dancing!

DALLAS ALICE

Hailing from Mount Bures and beyond, Dallas Alice captures the traditional feel of Johnny Cash, Hank Williams and Willie Nelson. The group recreates the feel of the old songs which defined the genre, combining dixie guitar licks with bounding bass lines, skiffle drumming and doo-wop vocals.
So, grab your partner by the hand and come on down early to BMF Sunday.
