Friday night at BMF just got very exciting indeed. How do we feel about having a Grammy-award winning artist in our midst?
That’s right, we’re very, very happy to welcome blues musician Alvin Youngblood Hart and his band Muscle Theory to our festival.
The likes of Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton and Mick Taylor are Alvin Youngblood Hart fans and for good reason. He’s a guitar legend, known for iconic and eclectic contribution to the world of blues, roots, country and rock music.
He’s also known for his on-screen appearances; he featured in the 2003 film The Soul of a Man, from Martin Scorsese’s film series The Blues. And he appeared in The Great Debaters with Denzel Washington. He even taught Denzel AND Samuel L Jackson to play the guitar!
Alvin Youngblood’s Hart Muscle Theory are coming to perform for us, fresh from a mega tour of the coolest venues across the US and Canada.
Check out his website here.
Please don’t wait. Pick up your early-bird tickets and continue to follow us on our Twitter and Facebook pages because there’s much more to come!
