Bures Music Festival’s Sunday line-up is hotting up, with yet another great act booked to join the party. Soul act and Commitments tribute The Committed have agreed to join Who’s Next and Doctor & The Medics on Sunday night to celebrate the festival’s 21st birthday finale.
The Committed was formed in 2005 by Neal Hargreaves and is considered by many as the world’s number one “Commitments” tribute band.
The Committed boasts a full 10-piece line up with brass section and three female backing vocalists, bringing a totally authentic soul sound to the performance. Lead singer Hargreaves embodies Andrew Strong, and is often mistaken for him, especially throughout Ireland where the band has become extremely popular through its performances at classic Irish venues.
