We’re very excited to announce that food this year will be provided by Benson Blakes Bar & Grill – renowned for their award-winning gourmet burgers and delicious street-food dishes.

Benson Blakes was established in 2003 and was at the forefront of ‘street food’ before it hit the UK. They have won many awards, including Best Pub Burger in Britain 2013 and The Sunday Times 2014 Top 130 Restaurants (under £50), plus many more foodie accolades. They also run a busy, award-winning restaurant in Bury St Edmunds.

So, what’s on the menu? Mouthwatering meals, tried and tested by the BMF team, will include a selection of gourmet burgers made from locally sourced beef. We loved the Benson Blakes ‘classic’ burger (beef, emmental, black bacon with pico de gallo salsa and salad) and the deluxe ‘Piggy Back’ (beef, pulled pork, BBQ mayo and cheese).

Flatbread Pizza by Benson BlakesPizza lovers can opt for the tasty handmade meat and veggie stretched pizzas and flatbreads such as the Smoky Pizza (ham hock, smoked chicken, spinach, mushroom and goat’s cheese or mozzarella) and the Veggie Pizza (butternut squash, goat’s cheese or mozzarella, basil, caramelised red onion and pine nuts).

And vegetarians won’t feel left out: there will be plenty of dishes for non-carnivores, including chickpea and sweet potato falafel (with guacamole and pickled cabbage) and paella.

Kids? They’re covered with smaller portions of the adult meals at purse-friendly prices.

And in keeping with our green policy, Benson Blakes packaging is recyclable and compostable which means less rubbish for our skip and beautiful East Anglian countryside.

Benson Blakes have also assured us that the queues will move swiftly so that festivalgoers can get back to the music and bar.
