Thanks to you, BMF just gave £25,000 to charity!

It makes every challenging moment worth it when our little festival can give away a record £25,000 to incredible local charities! On Thursday October 17, at our presentation evening held at The Eight Bells in Bures, we listened to the truly inspiring stories of the amazing people who volunteer or work for these charities, and heard their plans for the grants that BMF has given them.

It is truly an honour to be able to support the likes of Ferriers Barn, St Helena Hospice, St Nicholas Hospice Care, Colchester Hospital Children’s Ward, and many more (see the breakdown below). Please look them up to see what great work they do.

BMF 2024 was the most successful yet, and every penny we raised that wasn’t used to pay for the festival has gone to an organisation in need. We couldn’t do this without the extraordinary support of BMF volunteers and our local community, our sponsors, the many musicians who agree to perform for beer money, and of course every single wonderful person who buys a ticket. So, thank you to all the lovely people who come back each year to support and celebrate this lovely event.

With huge love from Team BMF x
